Richard Thompson was a senior technical consultant for Aviation Management Systems Inc., where he provided comprehensive consulting relative to all aspects of private jet aviation, performed private jet aircraft acquisitions, and has acted as project manager for all private jets for sale and for purchase.

Private Jet Maintenance and Management

As the president of MV Air Group, Inc, Michael performed pre-purchase inspection of private jets, and procurement and resale of various aircraft inventories and components.  He has extensive experience in managing private jets, including repair station operations, scheduled and unscheduled private jet maintenance, inventory control, warranty claims, and fleet maintenance tracking.  He has also worked for numerous private jet aircraft companies as Maintenance Director/Coordinator, including MV Air Group, Air New England, Panorama Flight Services, Flight Services Group, and Shoreline Aviation.

Mr. Thompson has direct experience in managing a wide variety of private jet fleets, including the Beechjet 400, the Citation VII, the Falcon 50, the Gulfstream IV/SP, the King Air B200, and the Learjet 35A and 60.   He also has technical maintenance experience from when he performed periodic inspections on the Falcon 50, the CL600, and the CL601.

Pilot Experience

Richard has his Private Pilot Certificate and has been trained in the maintenance and inspection procedures of multiple private jets and small aircraft.

Education

Richard has earned certificates in Airframe and Power plant/Composite Fundamentals, and Avionics certificates from the Platt-Sikorsky School of Aviation and the Platt RVTS in Connecticut.
