Private Jet Maintenance and Program Management

Mr. Wooler recently left AVMATS, an international company which supplies parts and maintenance to private business jets. During the last eight years of his employment at AVMATS, he introduced a formal Aircraft Maintenance and Training Program and created a Company Pre-Purchase Evaluation Program for the Hawker family of aircraft.

In 1992 Mr. Wooler started work for Raytheon Aircraft Company as a manager in service engineering. During his six years of employment with Raytheon, he oversaw the transfer of customer support from Hatfield, England, to its current location in Wichita, KS. He also organized and managed a team that investigated and corrected long-term aircraft systems difficulties, and was the primary Customer Support contact during the introduction of the RVSM program to the Hawker fleet.

Technical Systems and Maintenance Experience

Mr. Wooler worked for the Military Division of British Aerospace as an Electrical Systems’ Engineer for two years, where he was responsible for trials management of electrical and avionics systems and product support for the Harrier Aircraft. He was in charge of Government Customer Liaison for Electrical Systems during this time.

Dave Wooler worked in the British Royal Air Force for 16 years, where he performed duties as a Flight Line Manager on a Harrier, a Phantom F4 and the Victor Tanker Aircraft. Mr. Wooler also worked as an Aircraft Servicing Chief on the Victor Tanker Aircraft.

Education

Dave graduated from the Open University of Great Britain with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Technology. He completed technical training in Airframe, Powerplant, Electrical, and Weapons systems through the Royal Air Force. He also holds his Ordinary National Certificate in Aeronautical Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and attained a Pt 2 Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance from the City & Guilds of London Institute. In addition, he has completed more than six technical avionics and maintenance courses and was
