Aircraft Engineering & Development

Jack Hulsey has gained extensive technical knowledge about aircraft engineering and development through his career of more than 40 years in the industry. Mr. Hulsey began his career as an Aerospace Engineer for the Space Division of Chrysler and Northrop. He was later hired as a Structures and Propulsion Engineer at Rockwell International, where he worked for eleven years before holding aviation engineering positions at Beech Aircraft Company and the Ayres Corporation in Albany. In 1989, Mr. Hulsey started at Raytheon Aircraft Company as a Systems Engineering Manager. He continued at the company for the next twelve years, where he held the position of VP of Engineering and later VP of Aircraft Development.

Aviation Consulting

Since his retirement as VP of Aircraft Development at Raytheon in 2001, Mr. Hulsey has worked as a consultant for multiple aerospace companies, including Eclipse Aviation Company, Honda Aircraft Company, and Parker Aerospace.

Mr. Hulsey also worked for 25 years in aircraft certification as an FAA DER (Designated Engineering Representative) for Structures and Powerplant Installation. He has completed numerous certification programs for both general aviation aircraft and Military Trainers.

Education

Mr. Hulsey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Auburn University in Alabama.
